Established Property in Coquitlam with an existing pool, pool deck and pool house. Construction of a new sub-division has been built at a higher elevation, thus requiring a retaining wall on the backside of the pool.
To satisfy an elevation difference between the current grade and the new sub-division
Natural rock boulders were designed as the retaining wall material due to being supplied at no cost by the contractor of the new sub-division. An English Laurel hedge was planted all along the new fence line for privacy. Three Vanderwolf Pyramidal Pines were planted on the backside of the hot tub for extra privacy. A hot tub deck was designed in wood to match the new fence. A random-cut flagstone pathway was designed to start at the pool deck and wrap behind some plantings to a fire pit and continue to the pool house. To beautify the pool area we planted three colour schemed gardens. On the west side of the pool is cool-toned plants such as: Russian Sage, Delphinums, Purple Coneflower, Royal Candles Veronica, Blazing Star etc. One the north side of the pool we planted rows of Children
