Site

New Clubhouse/Washroom Building set 8' above existing sport field. Located in Harrison Mills, BC.

Intention

To add a pedestrian walkway from existing building to new building with low maintenance, low water plant material and lawn to create a park-like setting for families to use.

Solution

Designed in a 6' wide meandering pathway constructed of interlock pavers To match existing. Carved out a 25' x 10' space at the end of the slop to create a storage spot off the field for the East end soccer nets. Added colourful and drought tolerant plant material into the South facing slope to beautify space, erosion control and ease of maintenance of not having to mow the slope. Much in the way of warm tones in the flower or foliage was used to match colour of buildings. The following plant material was designed in:
